As a child I always had a weaker core and refrained from eating maggi or chocolates or anything made of maida. Even when I grew up I couldn't eat out as per my will. I used to get severe stomach aches which would last for days. So a year back something similar happened and I got a few tests done. I was diagnosed with Pectic acid disease / Hyperacidity. I consulted several Gastroenterologist, but in vain. The tablets only made it worse and all the courses felt temporary. I had given up.. I felt I will always have to be careful about my food choices until I met Yogita ma'am. She understood my case and put me on a special diet not particularly focusing on weight loss but to cure my stomach ache in 20 days. Dr.Yogita Goradia’s diet program which actually justifies the word "Reduce" and yes following it I have reduced my weight. The diet charts planned for me were keeping in my daily routine , frequent travel iternaries and my health issues.The meal options provided were indeed very interesting and with whole lot of variety with food consumption that added had No added preservatives . Different variety of meal options daily, kept me hooked to the program . It wasn't very tough to follow the diet as it wasn't too fancy with lots to do in it, I just had to stick to the plan for the day and eat the stuff on time, mostly simple quick meals cooked fresh . When I first came to Dr Yogita I was addicted to sweets, stress and being unhappy. I carried suitcase full of diseases. I was on medications for PCOS & Depression, was Pre-Diabetic and fatigued, steroids for Lupus. Along with this I was overweight post delivery with 2 babies. I have started my journey in January 2012 weighing 68kgs, I had delivered a few months back in April 2012.I put on 27 kilos and couldnt accept the fact that my body had gone through sooo many changes. Usually one looses a few kilos after they deliver but i just lost 3 kilos. I was depressed, lethargic, and constantly feeling run-down I was very sure that i wanted to nurse my baby till he turned at least 2. My family kept telling me that the more u eat the more u produce milk. May be i felt it was partially true but what u eat is most important and not just putting anything in your mouth. I have always believed in healthy eating so could never understand the need to go to a nutritionist. I read a lot about what i was doing wrong. I used to exercise and eat right,. I am Kalpana Desai. A 64 year old lady who was diagnosed with ILD in 2014. I was already suffering from hypertension and diabetes. I was referred to Dr Yogita Goradia by my Pulmonologist Dr. Deepak Namjoshi.
To control the ILD I was put on high steroids. As I was already a diabetic my sugar levels shot up very high. So my sugar levels had to be brought under control.
